Hi, I'm Jin Mei.
I love finding the creative in the everyday and the everyday in the creative. Sometimes I write, more often I read, and when I can I'll travel anywhere.
Alumna of Colorado College; B.A. Majors: Organismal Biology & Ecology and English: Creative Writing. Masters in Education from Loyola University: Maryland. Fully trained Association Montessori Internationale 6-12 guide.
Current professional interests include: education, marine biology, transnational issues (adoption/migration, human trafficking, and ecological conservation), Asian American identity politics, and science and fiction writing.
Current long-term plans include one project about international adoption and another about music in diaspora communities, pursuing a career in science writing and education, publishing more fiction work, and making sure my cat has a great life.
